Microphone Transcription
Transcribe from your microphone
The primary way to use Speakly is transcribing directly from your microphone.
Microphone Selection
Choose your input device in Settings > General or from the tray menu.
Microphone Gain
Adjust the microphone gain (0.5x to 3x) in Settings > General. Default is 2x boost.
Testing Your Microphone
Use the microphone test feature in Settings to verify your audio is being captured correctly.
Best Practices
Speak clearly and at a consistent volume. Reduce background noise when possible for best results.
