Prompt Ingredients

Ready-made building blocks for your rules

The old System Templates catalog became ingredients: short, ready-made instruction blocks inside the rule builder. Open Custom PromptsNew Rule, and under step 2 they appear as dashed chips — click one to append it to the instruction, and combine as many as you like.

Not the same thing as Style
Style (sidebar → Style) and Custom Prompts rules are two different settings. Style is a hint sent to the transcription engine and only shifts capitalisation, punctuation and tone. A rule runs an LLM over the finished text and can restructure it, translate it or turn it into an email. See Writing Style at /docs/features/style.

The ingredients

  • Fix grammar & fillers: fixes grammar and punctuation, removes ums, stutters and false starts
  • Translate only: faithful translation, nothing added or reworded
  • Formal tone: professional, formal wording
  • Casual tone: conversational, chat-style wording
  • Bullet points: converts the content into a concise list of key points
  • Summarize: a concise summary that keeps every fact and decision
  • E-mail format: greeting, short body paragraphs and a closing — no invented content

Post-processing has to be configured first

A template rewrites text with an LLM, so it only runs once a provider is set up in Settings → Post-Processing. See LLM Providers.
