System Requirements

macOS

macOS 11 (Big Sur) or later
Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4)
4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended for local models)
2GB free disk space

Windows

Windows 10 or later (64-bit)
4GB RAM minimum (8GB recommended for local models)
2GB free disk space

Local Models on Windows

Local Whisper models are not yet available on Windows. Use BYOK (Bring Your Own Key) with providers like OpenAI, Groq, or Google for transcription.

Download

Download Speakly from our website or GitHub releases page.

Installation Steps (macOS)

Download the .dmg file from the website
Open the downloaded file
Drag Speakly to your Applications folder
Open Speakly from Applications
If prompted, click "Open" to confirm you trust the app

Installation Steps (Windows)

Download the .exe installer from the website
Run the installer
Follow the installation wizard
Launch Speakly from Start Menu or Desktop shortcut

First Launch

On first launch, Speakly will guide you through granting necessary permissions and setting up your preferred transcription method.
