About Speakly
Built by one person. Used all day, every day.
Speakly exists because I needed it: a voice tool I could trust with privacy, working as a Swiss Army knife for everything speech — dictation, meetings, videos, files.
I talk to my computer for a living. Most of my day happens through voice — prompting AI, dictating messages to colleagues, transcribing calls and videos. Typing was the bottleneck, and the dictation apps I tried either sent every word to someone else’s cloud or stopped at dictation.
So I built the tool I wanted to depend on: local Whisper models running on your machine — or your own API key when you choose cloud — one shortcut that works in any app, and real transcription for meetings, YouTube and files. I use Speakly all day, every day. Every release ships because I need it to work.
Efficiency is literally my day job: I build enterprise AI platforms for a global consulting firm — systems that turn days of expert work into seconds. Speakly is the same discipline, pointed at voice.
One person. On purpose.
No org to feed
$20 once instead of $15 a month — there is no sales team, office or investor in that price. You pay for software, not overhead.
Built to keep working
Local models run on your machine. If this site vanished tomorrow, your dictation would keep working — no server to die, no subscription to expire.
The developer answers
Bug reports, feature requests and support email land with the person who wrote the code — not a ticket queue.
