Help Menu
Shortcuts, microphone, languages, and the support form
Help sits at the bottom of the left sidebar of the main window, directly under Settings. It is a shortcut menu: three screens you open often, plus every way to reach Speakly's support. Click Help to open it; a click anywhere outside closes it.
Essentials
- Shortcuts — opens the Keyboard Shortcut window, where you see and change the recording shortcut
- Microphone — opens the Microphone window to pick an input device and test it
- Languages — opens the Languages dialog (what you speak → what Speakly types)
Get in touch
- Help Center — opens tryspeakly.com/docs in your browser
- Talk to support — opens the Report an issue form
- General feedback — opens the same form on its Share feedback tab
The Report an issue form
- Choose Help → Talk to support
- On the Report an issue tab, pick a Request Type: Issue, Bug, Feature Request or Question — the Share feedback tab has no type selector
- Fill in Subject and Description; both are required and the send button stays disabled until they are filled
- Optionally click Attach file to add an image, a PDF, a Word document or a text file
- Click Send message. On success the form answers Your ticket has been submitted successfully! We'll get back to you soon.
You have to be signed in
Submitting goes through Speakly's server. Signed out, the form answers You must be logged in to submit a support ticket and sends nothing.
