Push-to-Talk
Hold to record, release to transcribe
Push-to-Talk is the default recording mode. Hold your hotkey to record, release to stop and transcribe.
How to Use
- Hold down Cmd (macOS) or Ctrl (Windows)
- Speak into your microphone
- Release the key when finished
- Wait for transcription to complete
Default Hotkey
The default hotkey is Cmd on macOS and Ctrl on Windows. You can customize this in Settings > General.

Quick dictation, short messages, and when you want precise control over recording start/stop.
